Updated: Feb 18, 2022

Coffee shops near me in Savannah, GA

Savannah is home to many culinary treasures from seafood to Southern cuisine, but the city also houses some fabulous coffee shops, as well.

Whether you’re visiting or a Savannah native, these are some must-try shops and bakeries to enjoy while you’re here.

1. The Coffee Fox

With one location in the heart of historic Savannah and one on the west side, both of The Coffee Fox’s cafes offer the brand’s renowned craft coffee.

Their full espresso menu is fueled by their locally bought PERC coffee that used to make drinks like the horchata, a latte with Mexican sweetened milk, and two shots of PERC Juggernaut Espresso.

If you’re stopping by for lunch, make sure to try their sausage kolache, a pastry with sausage and cheddar cheese. Or if you have a sweet tooth, you can munch on their gluten-free peanut butter cookies.

2. PERC Coffee

Speaking of PERC Coffee, they have a shop, too!

This gem was founded in 2010 by a former musician who fell in love with coffee brewing and turned it into a family-owned business. Now, the cafe that started with a man and his parents has grown into a multi-locational corporation.

Along with their handmade drinks, like the Brazil Legender Drip Coffee, they sell packaged espresso. So, you can enjoy their exotic flavors at home, too!

3. Foundery Coffee Pub

As a nonprofit, the Foundry Coffee Pub seeks to better the Savannah community through projects.

Even their name tells a story of togetherness. A pub is a communal place where people in the community can gather. This is their mission...except with coffee and not alcohol.

You can help support this mission by purchasing one of their delicious, ethically sourced roasts.

4. The Paris Market Cafe

Called the “Most Beautiful Coffee Shop in Georgia” by Architectural Digest, the Paris Market Cafe can be found in the Paris Market on Broughton Street. And it’s no surprise why it landed this title. The eclectic look of the shop is created through the combination of modern fixtures and French Baroque-style molding.

Of course, they have the coffee and food to match. Have a café au lait with pain au chocolat, scones, or macarons.

5. Le Cafe Gourmet

But if you want authentic French pastries, you need to get it from the source.

Owned by a French couple that immigrated to the States in 2016, Le Cafe Gourmet has fresh baked goods that are made from scratch daily.

From their handmade artisan breads to their lunch options, Le Cafe’s menu will leave your mouth watering. Choose between their French baguettes, brioche, or rosemary bread, made with rosemary, basil, and oregano. Or don’t, and get them all!

6. Art’s

Found inside Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) on Madison Square, Art’s exemplifies the bold architecture the school is known for. You’ll see what I mean when you lay your eyes on the refurbished double-decker bus that holds the cafe.

Art’s was built for college life with it’s grab-and-go snacks, coffees, juices, wraps, and smoothies. But if you feel inspired by the creative atmosphere, there are tables to sit and draw while you eat.

7. Foxy Loxy Cafe

A member of the Coffee Fox family, Foxy Loxy’s name isn’t the wildest part about it. It isn’t just your average coffee shop bakery combo, but also, part Tex-Mex cantina.

Whether it’s morning or night, you can try their huevos rancheros quiche or Mexican Mocha, a dark chocolate roast with habanero and cinnamon. But, you have to wait until after 5 to browse their wine options.
