Bacardi, a famous brand of rum, based in Maimi, is the largest privately held, family-owned spirits company in the world. They were originally known for their specific brand of white rum but has expanded to over 200 brands and labels.


Throughout its time, Bacardi has gained many acquisitions in order to diversify from its titular brand, such as merging with Martini & Rossi, Italian producer Martini vermouth, in 1993.
